奥蒂斯艺术与设计学院
Otis College of Art and Design

成立于1918年，原创办者Harrison Gray Otis希望在南加州成立一个公立而且独立的艺术学校，最早的校址在洛杉矶国际机场旁，现在已经变成IBM大楼。经过长久的经营，该校在加州已有一定的名声，特别是服装设计系广为人知。1978年到1991年间曾与纽约的Parsons合作，当时Otis的名称叫做“Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design”。在西岸就读Otis的学生可以到东岸的Parsons去上课。1991年后才脱离了Parsons，变成今天的Otis。Otis对作品这一项要求很高。学校临近洛杉矶，校园规模不大，约有1100名学生。研究所采用绝对的小班制教学，但是没有提供与其他学校类似的美术硕士学位。整个美术硕士学位只提供“美术写作”主修，此校大学部有一个专业很特别——“玩具设计”。
Otis希望学生通过他们的创造力、技能和视野，丰富我们的世界。
奥蒂斯艺术设计学院是洛杉矶首所独立专业的艺术设计学院。开设的专业有数字媒体、玩具设计、时尚设计等。200多名教师都有在迪斯尼、美泰等知名公司的实践经验。这也吸引了大批的中国学生选择该校。
