Bienen音乐学院是一所专注于音乐表演及学术研究的本科/研究生学院。坐落于西北大学埃文斯顿主校区，自1895年至2008年被称为西北大学音乐学院。2008年9月，学院为向前大学校长Henry Bienen及其妻子Leigh Buchanan Bienen致敬，更名为Bienen音乐学院。作为一所美国顶尖的音乐院校，Bienen音乐学院提供表演学位包括所有管弦乐器、键盘、声乐、音乐作曲、爵士乐研究以及指挥，同时也有如音乐学、音乐历史、音乐教育及音乐理论研究的教育学位。作为为数不多拥有文理、新闻学或工科本科双学位的学院，音乐学院现有约125名教员、超过400名本科学生及超过200名研究所学生。在2010年，音乐学院的录取率大概在10%，我们从2000人中选出了200名左右优秀学生入学就读。
西北大学本尼音乐学院(Northwestern Bienen School of Music)始建于1873年，也称宾恩音乐学院。西北大学女子学院和埃文斯顿女子学院合并为西北大学女子学院。这个新的学院成立了音乐系。1891年，皮特.克里斯丁.卢特金被任命为系主任。1892你那，该机构又被重新命名为音乐系，三年后又更名为音乐学院。卢特金的终身任职标志着学院的持续性成长。本尼音乐学院是国家音乐学院联盟的成立成员之一，有权利授予所有学位。

She holds a BM in voice performance and music education from Ithaca College, an MM in music education with a concentration in voice performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University, and a PhD in music education from the University of Washington.
Casey
He previously taught instrumental music in Illinois and Wisconsin public schools for 13 years. His research interests include music teacher education and the modes and processes music teachers use to self-reflect, assess, and modulate their practice
