成立于1769年12月13日，位于美国新罕布什尔州汉诺威镇。达特茅斯是八所常春藤联盟（Ivy League School）名校之一，也是建校早于美国建国的九所殖民地学院（Colonial Colleges）之一。
达特茅斯学院虽为私立研究型大学，但由于其保持着极其“小而精”的学术标准，一直保留其“学院”的称号，也是常青藤学校中仅以“学院”冠称的大学。其师生比约为1：7，本科生大约有4200人，研究生大约2000人，教授1081人。

Aine
Aine is a research associate professor in the Department of Education at Dartmouth. She also serves as a faculty member at Tuck and at the Geisel School of Medicine. Her research emphasis, publications, and professional presentations are in the field of moral education and applied ethics.

Ellie is an Associate Professor in the Marketing area of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She teaches the MBA core marketing course and an elective research-to-practice seminar, “Time in the Consumer Mind,” on how the psychology of time influences consumer decision making.
