The Diamond-Dybvig model shows how banks serve the economy by creating liquidity, and how this liquidity creation subjects the banks to runs if there is not any deposit insurance or other protection
Kimball
Kimball has been an assistant professor of accounting at Washington University in St Louis since 2015. He conducts research on the capital market consequences of firm disclosure, focusing on voluntary disclosure and investor relations activities. Kimball was formerly the Director of Investor Relations at Cott Corp.
